Code of Conduct

This code sets out how we treat each other at Surfcoast All Abilities. It applies to players, families, carers, coaches, volunteers and committee members.

Treat everyone with respect. Welcome people of all abilities, ages, backgrounds and identities.

Play fair and have fun. Value effort, teamwork and taking part over winning.

Use respectful language. Do not bully, harass, discriminate against or abuse anyone, in person or online.

Keep people safe. Follow instructions from coaches and officials, and report any safety concern.

Look after our venues and equipment, and help leave shared spaces as we found them.

Coaches and volunteers put the wellbeing of participants first and create a positive, inclusive environment.

If someone breaches this code, we deal with it fairly through our complaints process. Serious breaches may lead to a person being asked to leave the club.
